Primer 952 is kind of light yellow clear liquid, and it can be used to promote adhesion of adhesive tapes. It is direct reaction by synthetic resin with adhesive tapes. It has advantages of high bonding, cold resistance, moisture resistance, high temperature resistance. It is equivalent to 3M 4298 Primer.

Primer 952 is widely applied in rubber sealing strip, car body side molding, car door strip,car window frame trims,car door handle bowl insert, ABS chrome car door handle cover,rear window wiper,rear fog lamp trim/cover,head light cover,chrome fuel tank cover,door sill scuff plate,rear trunk lid molding,side window deflectors rain guards window visors,car side mirror chrome decoration trim and so on.

Application Techniques

1.Surface preparation:

The bonding surface must be relatively clean and dry.Contaminated surfaces should be cleaned with a 50/50 Isopropyl Alcohol and water mixture,A clean lint-free cloth should be used.

2.Application: Shake CNHYBOND 952 primer well before using:

(1).Apply a thin uniform coating to the bonding surface using the minimum amount that will fully coat the surface, allow cnhybond 952 primer to dry thoroughly before applying tape. This is usually accomplished in 5 minutes at room temperature, Be sure the primed surface remains free from contaminants prior to applying the tape. Porous surfaces may require 2 application of CNHYBOND 952 primer for uniform coverage and good adhesion..

(2). Allow first application of primer to dry before applying the second coat, CNHYBOND primer 952 may be applied with brush or swab, It can also be applied with a pressurized flow gun, knurled roller or other similar type of application equipment

(3).Drying Time

Drying time generally depends on the temperature, humidity,thickness of coating.
Normal drying time:1 minute-1 hour  
The best drying time:10-30minutes(temperature:23℃, moisture65%) 

Keep coating surface clean while operating

(4).Stick double sided tapes
Stick double sided tapes to the surface of coating, and press it strongly. 

Clean up:

Cnhybond 952 primer can be removed with isopropyl alcohol,Vigorous scrubbing may be required

Shelf life

1. 12 months from date of manufacture when stored in the original container at 15-27℃

2. Keep cnhybond tape primer 952 in the original container

3. Keep original container tightly sealed to avoid solvent evaporation
